Florida has historically been tough for E85 users. The panhandle is nearly empty, Central Florida options are limited, and even in major metros, stations come and go. If you've searched "E85 near me" in Florida and found nothing useful, you're not alone.
The good news: verified E85 stations are starting to arrive in Florida, and more are coming in 2026.
Verified E85 Stations in Florida
"Verified" means we have direct confirmation from the supplier about ethanol content—not crowd-sourced data that may be outdated. These stations blend to a target of 83% ethanol and consistently test between 85-92%.

E85 Availability Across Florida
Outside of verified stations, Florida's E85 coverage is spotty:
South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach): A handful of stations exist, but quality reports vary. Some users report good experiences, others have tested fuel in the low 60s.
Central Florida (Orlando, Tampa): More options than the coasts, but still limited. Tampa area is improving with the Sarasota NUVU station nearby.
North Florida / Panhandle: This region has been called "hurting for E85" by the community, and that's accurate. Stations are few and far between.
Florida Keys: Essentially nothing.
Use E85 Scout to find what's available in your area. The app shows community-reported ethanol percentages so you can see what other users have tested before you fill up. For a full breakdown of how E85 Scout compares to other apps, see our Best E85 Finder App 2026 comparison.
E85 Quality in Florida: What to Expect
Florida's warm climate means less seasonal variation than northern states. You won't see the dramatic winter blend drops (down to 70%) that happen in places like Michigan.
That said, quality still varies by station and supplier:
- • Some Florida stations consistently test 80%+
- • Others have been reported in the 60s
- • Without testing or using a verified station, you're guessing
If you're tuned for a specific ethanol percentage, test your fuel or stick to verified stations.
What's Coming to Florida
Florida's E85 infrastructure is growing:
NUVU Fuels expansion: With Sarasota open and Riverview coming in 2026, Southwest Florida is getting real options.
E85 Scout verified network: We're actively adding verified stations as we partner with more suppliers and station owners. If you know a Florida station with consistently good E85, let us know.
Community reporting: As more Florida users submit ethanol tests through E85 Scout, the data gets better for everyone. Even a quick verification helps.
